I feel that honesty is the best policy, so I am going to start out by telling the truth: I have never read a blog, nor do I know anything about how to write one. You may find that I am going about it completely wrong! If so, just drop me a note ;)
If you haven't read my "About Me" section, I'll mention again that I am starting this blog to promote my novel, and get to know prospective readers. I'll say it now that I generally write YA fantasy novels, so if that's not your sort of thing, you may not be interested in what I have to say. But I would be more than happy to have you all - anyone and everyone who will lend me an ear!
Along the treacherous path of trying to find a publisher, I learned many important facts - perhaps the most important being that getting published traditionally is virtually impossible. That's okay, though. I'm still giving it my best shot, and I won't give in until either I die, or I'm looking at the very first page in my book. You know, that beautiful page that will say:

I hope all of you will one day being seeing this glorious page as well. Anyhow, since this is an introduction, I'll leave the good stuff for another post. I don't know if anyone will ever even see this page, but one can only hope - hope is a a major requirement for becoming an author!
