The Journal...So Far

I have been keeping a journal of my progress so far (it begins at the end of my first draft). I am going to add entries from my journal until we are up to date on what is going. But before I do that, allow my to give you a brief synopsis of what the book is about:

      My manuscript is a young adult fantasy with an unusual setting that puts a twist on the age-old concept of good vs. evil.

      Argent knows that she shouldn’t trespass into Bifrost Forest, but something inside her screams that it is the only place where she will find a lead on her younger brother Aaron’s mysterious disappearance. When she instead encounters Whisker, an unusual girl with odd ideas, Argent begins to think that her intuition led her in the wrong direction.

            After an attack by two ghostly hounds, Argent is forced to follow Whisker into an afterlife kingdom called Ghostalia (Which is located in The Realm Beyond) – and Argent is the supposed princess. Together, Argent, Whisker, and a young archer named Leaf, embark on a mission to find Aaron and stop the evil Shadow Kingdom from resurrecting dark spirits and unleashing them upon the entirety of the Realm Beyond.
